A 10-year veteran of the sport, Alan Dominguez is a former regional welterweight champion in his native Mexico. Of his 11 victories, five have come via knockout, including four coming in the first round. Dominguez fought in a Showcase Bout in the PFL a year ago, getting stopped by Lorenz Larkin.
Nick Meck, a Kansas native, is also a former welterweight champ on the regional scene. A wrestling specialist, Meck was an NAIA All-American at York College before transitioning to MMA. The four-year pro enters tonight 8-2 with three submission victories, most recently scoring a decision win over Armus Guyton this past January.

Meck switches stances immediately. Dominguez flashes a left hand. Both men are going to switch stances quite a bit. Dominguez with a body kick. The two throw and Meck lands an overhand left and a follow-up right. Meck shoots in on a level change and scores a takedown. Right hand from Meck. Dominguez scrambles, but Meck fights back and gets into side control. Meck appears to be searching for a kimura. Dominguez rolls. Meck goes for a rear-naked choke. Dominguez escapes, but Meck goes for the kimura again. Dominguez escapes, but Meck gets right to Dominguez’s back.
Meck lands a couple of big right hands. Meck gets hooks and a body triangle in. Meck fighting the hands and looking for the choke. Meck continues to land shots. Dominguez tries to land shots from up top in Meck’s grip. But Meck gets under the neck and squeezes – Dominguez taps to the rear-naked choke!
