Jesus Pinedo’s lone loss in the last six years came during the opening stages of the 2023 PFL Global Season, when he lost to undefeated rising star Gabriel Braga. But Pinedo didn’t let that deter him, as he went on to score a massive upset of Brendan Loughnane to reach that year’s Playoffs – and went on to finish Braga for the 2023 PFL Featherweight World Title. Pinedo has won eight of his last nine – and 19 of his 24 career victories have come via a finish. After not competing in the 2024 season, Pinedo defeated Adam Borics to clinch a spot in the semifinals tonight.
Braga was 12-0 in MMA before his loss to Pinedo. The 2023 PFL Challenger Series alumnus then had to overcome personal tragedy with the loss of his father, scoring wins over Justin Gonzales and Bubba Jenkins to kick off his 2024 campaign before losing to Timur Khizriev in the Playoffs. Braga then went on to defeat Jeremy Kennedy and Frederik Dupras, the latter of which has earned him this Semifinals spot tonight.
The rubber match is now upon us. Who will go on to take the series and face Movlid Khaybulaev in the Featherweight Finals in August?
Round 1

Pinedo with a counter right hook that catches Braga coming in. Damaging right hand stuns Braga! Braga goes down with a follow-up! Ground-and-pound briefly and that’s it!
